How to set up your Exception
Our Obzervr Team will set up the Exception Notification for our clients. Note that you need to notify Obzervr when you change the Supervisors.
What triggers the Exception?
Alert will be triggered when your team members input the data that has the exception, and, as a manager, you will get Alert Notification via SMS or Email or both.
Exceptions created on Work Designer for the following field types:
- Numeric Value
- Numeric Range
- Set Value
- Dropdown
- Checkbox
Notification Type | Daily | Work Completion | Measurements Completion |
Description | The notification is sent to the supervisor of the team in which the Work with exceptions belongs to. All priority exceptions are summarised in the notifications. | The notification is sent only if the Work contains high priority exceptions | The notification is sent only if the Measurement contains high priority exceptions |

When | 11 pm daily | As soon as the Work is completed | As soon as the Measurement is completed |
Exceptions can be classified into 3 priorities: High, medium and low. Users can be notified about exception fields in 3 different ways
Note:
- Work and Instance completion notifications are only sent when they contain High priority notifications.
- If a user is assigned as a supervisor for multiple teams, they will get separate notifications for each team.
