This month we have introduced Tags to Obzervr! This will allow users to tag their {Assignments} to identify critical controls, statutory work or other reference information. 

To fulfill these requirements, multiple components of the Obzervr platform were updated, including:

• APIs (Work API and Batch API) - to allow external systems to define tags for {Assignments} (read: ERPs i.e. Pronto and SAP)
• Obzervr Capture (Dashboard, Worklist, and Overview pages) 
• Obzervr Manager (Worklist V2 and Edit Assignment page)
• PDF (Blank and Completed)

Adding Tags via APIs

To add System Originated or read only Tags to Obzervr, they will be need to be defined via the Obzervr APIs. To learn more about this, read:

1       Tags on Obzervr Capture

Once the work order has been created via the Work API and IsVisible is set to true, the tags will appear on Capture v1.42.26. For the current version of Capture, it is suggested that the IsInteractive is set to false. Note that when IsInteractive is set to false, the tag is classified as System Generated and users should only be able to read the tags added to a work order.

Currently Obzervr Capture only supports IsInteractive set to false. Where IsInteractive is set to true, Capture will treat the tag like IsInteractive is set to false.

When tags exist, a list of Tags will be available to filter on. This will filter the work orders based on the tag selected.

Where IsVisible is set to true, the Tags column on Worklist V2 in Manager will be populated with the Tag key.

Edit Assignment page  

When the edit work order page is opened, users should be able to see the Tags option under the Assignment Category (i.e. Priority). Where IsInteractive is set to false, this field will be read only, but if IsInteractive is set to true, users will be able to click on the tag and elect to remove it.

Where IsInteractive is false, the Edit Assignment Page will show a “System Originated” indicator and will be read only.

3       Tags on PDFs

Blank PDFs will show a Tags placeholder in the blank PDF.

Completed PDF will also show the Tags generated for the work order under the assignment category.
