We are excited to announce a new enhancement for Feedback and Exception Management - Comments.
With Comments, team communication is taken to a whole new level. It provides a way for team members to share and view comments on work orders, which helps to ensure everyone is on the same page. The new feature allows you to individually or bulk add comments, see the comment history for the item, and who commented. This article will provide more information on how to use the Comments feature to streamline your team's communication and collaboration.
What is Exception and Feedback Management?

- Exception Management is a new Obzervr Manager list to surface all the exceptions into a centralised location. See more here.
- Feedback Management is a new Obzervr Capture feature where users can add feedback to a field and in Obzervr Manager, you can view and action the feedback from the new Feedback Management list. For all the details, see more here.
What permissions do you need to add comments?

How to add a measure comment
The Capture app has an in-built way to add comments on each field: the comments box.
This is the “measure comment”.
How to add an exception comment
After an exception is raised, you can click on the exception flag to add an “exception comment”.
Both measure comments and exception comments (also known as Resolution Comments) are shown on the Exception Management list in Obzervr Manager.
From directly in the list, you can also add comments.

What are the different types of comments?
As you might have noticed, there are a couple of different types of comments. See the table below for their explanation.

Measure Comment | A comment added to the field on the Obzervr Capture app. |
Exception Comment (on Capture) or Resolution Comment (on Manager) |
This is shown as the exception comment on Capture. This is where you can enter a comment when resolving an exception on Capture. |
Comment | This is a comment added via the Feedback or Exception Management list on Manager. |
Resolved Comment | This is a comment recorded when the item is resolved. |
Unresolved Comment | This is a comment recorded when the item is marked as unresolved. |
