How to Change the Date Format in Manager

The date format shown is reflected from your browser settings. For example, if the language is set to English UK or English Australia, it will show as dd/mm/yyyy, or if unset, default to the American format mm/dd/yyyy. This is so you can use your preferred format, regardless of what country you are in.

To update it to the desired format, update the language settings of your browser to match what is preferred.

Google Chrome

• At the top-right of the address bar, click the three dots, and click Settings.
• From the left side of Chrome, click Languages.
• Click Add languages:
  • English (Australia) for dd/mm/yyyy format.
• Click the three dots against the chosen language.
• Select the 'Display Google Chrome' in this language checkbox.
• Restart the Chrome browser for the changes to reflect.

Microsoft Edge

• At the top-right of the address bar, click the three dots, and click Settings.
• From the left side of Edge, click Languages.
• Click Add languages:
  • English (Australia) for dd/mm/yyyy format.
• Click the three dots against the chosen language.
• Select the 'Display Microsoft Edge' in this language.
• Restart the Edge browser for the changes to reflect.

Mozilla Firefox

• At the top-right of the address bar, click the three horizontal lines, and click Settings.
• Navigate to the Language and Appearance section.
• Click Choose to choose your preferred language:
  • English (Australia) for dd/mm/yyyy format.
• Or, select the ’Use your operating system settings for...’ checkbox to format date, time and numbers according to your region's format.
• Restart the Firefox browser for the changes to reflect.

Safari

For Safari on Macs, the changes are pulled through from the system settings. The instructions below are to change the date format in your system settings.

• On your Mac, from the top-left, click Apple icon, and click System settings.
• From the left navigation pane, select General.
• Navigate to Language & Region section.
• Under Preferred Languages, click the +icon to choose your preferred language.
  • If you wish to just customize the date format, you can do so from the Date format field.
• Restart Mac to reflect the change in all applications. If you wish to customize settings only for certain apps, you can do so from the Applications section.
