[Child Groups] What are Child Groups?

Obzervr has introduced a new feature that allows users to add a group inside another group. These inside groups are called Child Groups. 

What is it?

The child group feature allows users to put more than one child group under one or more main (aka parent) group(s). This enables users to have multiple child actions under one main action.

These groups are called as "child group" and the main group is known as the "parent group".

These "child" groups can be configured in your templates in Designer and then actioned by your users in Capture. You cannot, however, configure a child group as a prerequisite group. 

How does it affect the existing Work Template Structure?

You can view the current Work Template Structure here. The addition of the Child group allows the user to insert a group into another group.

For example, upon completion of a Work Order, the operator needs to sign off and add any actions that he needs to complete prior to signing off. He will need to be able to add multiple actions under his signature. So, this feature will enable him to do so by adding a child group named Actions within his Sign-off group.

In other words, child group(s) have all the features that are in a group.
