How to setup your mobile devices for Obzervr Capture

Start your device
- Turn the device on and follow the manufacturer's instructions to set up the device
Connect to Wi-Fi
- From your Home screen, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Turn on Wi-Fi.
  Your device will automatically search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that you want to join.
- After you join the network, you’ll see next to the network and in the upper-left corner of your display.
Turn on GPS
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Privacy.
- Tap Location Services.
- Tap the indicator next to “Location Services” to turn the function on or off.
- Tap the indicator next to the Obzervr mobile app to ensure Location Services are turned on.

Open the Google Play Store. Touch the hamburger icon in the top-left corner, swipe up and choose Settings. Under General, tap Auto-update apps. If you want updates over Wi-Fi only, choose the third option: Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only. If you want updates as and when they become available, choose the second option: Auto-update apps at any time.	To make sure that the apps are set to automatically update, go to Settings and scroll until you see iTunes and App Store. Tap on iTunes & App Store. Then scroll all the way down towards the bottom until see Automatic Downloads. Select Updates. Now when a new version of Obzervr is released, your device will automatically update the app.	Open Microsoft Store. Select the ‘…’ icon on the right-hand side of the search taskbar in the top right-hand corner of the screen and choose Settings. Under App updates, tap Update apps automatically.

SwiftKey keyboard - this is so that when you enter numbers, you can put in decimal points. We've noticed that the default keyboard doesn't seem to facilitate this, so to avoid it, we suggest installing the SwiftKey keyboard app.
PDF viewer - this is so that you can view PDFs on your device.
Your business apps
Email apps, such as Outlook or Gmail etc.
