How are Work Templates structured?
A Work Template consists of Configurable Fragments (Group, Section and Fields) that are allocated into the appropriate Work Phase (Plan, Work and Complete).
-
Configurable Fragment
A fragment is a small detachable piece that is part of a larger whole. In Obzervr, a Fragment is a reusable and configurable object that is a part of Work Template.

Work Phase
Next in the hierarchy is the work phase. There are in total of three phases:
-
Plan phase - This Phase includes the activities to be performed by the users (workers) before the actual data collection work begins.
-
Work phase - this Phase includes the actual data collection blocks or groups.
-
Complete phase - this Phase includes the completion activities to be performed by the users (workers) such as Sign-off form or Handover forms.
All these Fragments and Phases are then encapsulated inside the Work Templates which can be attached to Assignments.
Next in the Tutorials about Work Template, we will discuss Fragment Templates - What they are, How to create them and How to utilize them in this article.
